Arb Alerts

The Arb Alerts section controls how OddsLeak detects and delivers arbitrage opportunities across Polymarket.

This menu lets you fine-tune what you’re alerted on, how often, and how aggressive the scanner should be.

✅ ARB Alerts

What it does: Turns true arbitrage alerts on or off.

• When enabled, OddsLeak scans markets for confirmed complement arbitrage

• This means YES price + NO price exceeds your threshold

• Alerts only fire when the arb condition is actually met

If this is off, you will not receive real arb alerts.

⚠️ Almost Alerts

What it does: Enables alerts for near-arbitrage setups that haven’t fully crossed your threshold yet.

• Useful for early entry

• Great for fast markets that move quickly

• Pairs well with Firehose Mode

🎯 Threshold (e.g. 101.0%)

What it does: Sets how strong an arbitrage must be before triggering.

• 100.0% = break-even

• 101.0% = 1% theoretical edge

• Higher threshold = fewer but stronger alerts

• Lower threshold = more frequent alerts

📏 Almost Band

What it does: Controls how close a market must be to your threshold to trigger an Almost Alert.

• 0.0% = off

• Example:

  • Threshold: 101.0%

  • Almost Band: 0.5%

  • Almost Alerts fire at 100.5%–100.99%

⏱ Cooldown

What it does: Prevents repeated alerts from the same market.

• Measured per market

• Helps avoid spam during fast price movement

• Shorter cooldown = more frequent alerts

🔥 Firehose Mode

What it does: Removes most filtering and scans as many markets as possible, as fast as possible.

• Maximum market coverage

• Near-instant alerts

• Higher alert volume

• Best for testing, discovery, and power users

⚠️ Expect more noise when enabled.

🧪 Send Test Alert

What it does: Sends a sample alert to your Telegram chat.

• Confirms alerts are flowing correctly

• Does not depend on live market conditions

• Safe to use anytime
